On router:
if you dont have the old Wireless password you need to conect by cable either way it is easyer by cable.
find your defult gateway on your connection to the router (if you dont know hot to do this try 192.168.1.1 its the defult network setup)
Enter the password you set or find the default password for your router here:
http://www.phenoelit-us.org/dpl/dpl.html
Then change the password in the menu, often named Settings, Wireless settings, password, security settings aso.

On Fixya: go to "My FixYa" and or "My account" then press the link "Change password" under your email.

How to log in to change my wep in the router

Connect directly to the device with a LAN cable. Open a web browser and type in 192.168.0.1 The default username is blank (no characters) and the defult password is zebra once in the router configuration go to security and change the WEP password, or better change it to WPA and make a password.
WEP is considered a weak encryption and even with a strong password can be hacked in just a few minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqleMWzSvUk
However unlikely it is that someone would try to hack it.

Everytime I sign into my Hotmail, my msn sign's me in via web. I do not mind that I can have this wonderful accessibility, however I do not want to be singed into my msn EVERYTIME I want to just check my...

My suggestion and it worked for me. Go ahead and pull up your MSN like you are going to log into it. It will ask you save username, password and log in automatically. Make sure the log in automatically is disabled. This should help clear up your issues. It had cleared up mine. Also as far as your hotmail account, bring up your options of that and just double check your setup there may be a few things checked that do not need to be.

Unable to locate network key so that I can set up a net book using a the Buffalo WHR-G54S-1.

The route should have a rest button. normally on the back. Press and hold it,power up the router, and hold the rest button for five seconds after power up. The router should now rest to factory defult settings. factory password should in the manual that came with the router.

you need a WEP key i'm guessing you're trying to say. go to a browser, type in the address bar http://192.168.0.1 and then login. the defult login name is either user or admin. the defulte password is either password or 12345. after logging in, find the menu that says wireless. from there you can either disable the WEP key, or write down the WEP key and type that into your laptop when it tries to connect. disabling the WEP key brings down your internet local security, but is not a problem is you don't live too close to anyone
