Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Right click on My Computer icon. Click non properties. Select Device Manager tab. Scroll down the device list till you come to Sound device. Click on it and select properties. Update the driver even if it says the device is working properly. In case you are asked to insert the CD which came with your computer do so. This should solve your problem. Other wise go to trouble shooting section and follow the instructions there of
