It may be sensing short circuits. You need to do in-depth troubleshooting by checking the caps and the voltages in the power supply first.<br /> <b><span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">If you are going to DIY and have proper tools, electronics knowledge, and know safety precaution then please read on:</span></b><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'"> </span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">Please see my basic troubleshooting guide here:</span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'"><a rel='nofollow' href="http://www.fixya.com/support/r5093881-lcd_flat_panel_tv_troubleshooting_guide">http://www.fixya.com/support/r5093881-lcd_flat_panel_tv_troubleshooting_guide</a></span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'"> </span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"><a rel='nofollow' href="http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums">http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums</a></span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"> </span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'"><a rel='nofollow' href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague</a></span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"> </span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Parts: <a rel='nofollow' href="http://www.shopjimmy.com/">www.shopjimmy.com</a></span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">Capacitors kit: <a rel='nofollow' href="http://lcdalternatives.auctivacommerce.com/Viewsonic-C196320.aspx"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>http://lcdalternatives.auctivacommerce.com/Default.aspx</a></span><span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"></span><br />

1. check your user manual for clicks/pops.
this could be due to devices connected to the Edirol UA-25 or a television or microwave.
2. this also could be due to the setting in Windows Energy saving settings.
that is the Windows "sleep mode" and power saving mode.
3. this could also be due to the USB cable.
4. you may need an external filter device for the process you are using.
5. read your manual on Troubleshooting Noise ( clicks and pops).

Hi,

Welcome to Fixya. Have you tried running the software in Compatibility Mode? Depending on your version of Windows 7, you may have the ability to run it in Compatibility Mode. Try right-clicking on the Photo Explosion shortcut that is on your Desktop. Then, go to Properties from the pop-up menu. Then, select the Compatibility tab. On that tab, put a check next to "Run the program in compatibility mode for:". Then, select Windows XP SP2. Click on the OK button to save this setting. Finally, try launching the program again.

If you have questions please let me know. Thanks for using Fixya.

Canon XTi Built in Flash

I found the answer and fixed my flash. Look on http://photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00ODWf

This will describe how, if you have been using a speedlite alot, than the little tab under the shutter release side of the hot shoe can get bent down thus constantly pressing down (toward the bottom of the camera) the small button which deactivates the pop-up1.gif flash even when the speedlite is not attached. Just bend the tab up a little with a jewler's screwdriver, turn the camera off and on and voila!! Fixed!!! Dan describes pushing the tab down, but on the xti, the tab needs to be bent up to release the flash deactivation switch and fix the problem. Thanks to Dan D on photonet for saving me a service call.

Stuck in sleep mode

You can control the power saving timeouts. Try turning them all off to make sure it is not badly configured software (power settings menu). If that does not help and you are sure you are not bumping the keyboard shortcut for suspend then I think you should return it and complain about the DVD.
