Supply registers are typically located near the perimeter of the structure and return air grills are usually located in or near interior walls.
If you can trace your duct to these locations you should be able to determine which is which.

Hw do i remove error code E4

Hi,
E4: Indicates lack of refrigerant, or the compressor is not running, or the thermistor is out of
calibration.
Action: Check that the compressor is running by listening.
If it is apparent that the compressor is running, then check the
temperature difference across the evaporator.
i.e. Measure temperature of return air at inlet filters and
measure temp. of discharge air at grilles. This temp diff.
should be 14 to 18 C. with fan on hi speed. If temp diff. is less than this,
suspect lack of refrigerant.
Fit a suction gauge to access valve at rear of unit. See fig 12. On a 35C
outside temp. then suction should be 380 to 450Kpa.

Good luck

How do you fit a replacement lower duct hose to a Dyson DC24 please?

Hi there,

Please make sure your Dyson is switched off and unplugged before attempting to replace the lower duct hose. You may find it easiest to replace if you recline the cleaner into the vacuuming position, then lie it on it's side, with ducting facing upwards. The hose has a push-fit design, but as it's new, you may find it a tight fit.

If you'd prefer one of our Helpline experts to guide you through the process of replacing the hose, please give us a call free on 0800 2980298 - you can reach us at any time between 7am and 10pm, 7 days a week.

Kind regards,

Jack

When replacing a u-joint should the grease fitting face forward or back. I'm working on the drive shaft of a 1974 Ford Maverick.

The grease fitting should face the rear if replacing the trans. u-joint and forward if replacing the diff. u-joint.

Not enough return air to heating unit

Right now you are at bare minimun for what your unit requires. If you are not having any problems with the unit or have not had any I would not worry about it. You need to check and make sure that your duct size on the unit is not smaller than 14" in diameter. If it is 14" or bigger you are fine.

Duct size

THREE TON CAN GET BY ON A 12 RETURN AND A 12 SUPPLY SPLIT INTO TWO 10S ONE FOR EACH SIDE OF A DOUBLE WIDE. EVEN BETTER IS A 14 RETURN AND A 14 SUPPY SPLIT TO TWO 12S . IF ITS A SINGLE WIDE I THINK I'D TRY TO PULL TWO 14S ONE TO SUPPLY ONE TO RETURN.BIGGER THE RETURN THE BETTER. LIKE SUCKING A MILKSHAKE THROUGH A LITTTLE STRAW. BIGGER IS BETTER.BE SURE TO ELEVATE OR BLOCK UP THE DUCT OFF THE GROUND WITH STYROFOAM BLOCKING 6 IN THICK IN 2 FT LENGHTS , WORKS WELL GETS DUCT UP OUT OF DIRT AND WATER AND RODENTS CAN CRAWL UNDER.

Goodman PCK-060-1C. suction 52, coil/filter/blower/restrictor/drier okay. Recovered the charge and recharged with factory specified amount. The return air 1800 cfm. Motor 3/4 hp. It seems to me the motor...

It seems to me that your suction should be @ 76 or so. 52 is low. the coil will ice up with any suction PSI below 58. Disconnect the unit from the duct work and make sure there is no restriction in the duct size. In other words. Does the unit work properly with out the duct? I find most mobil homes have a restriction in the amount of return. A 5 ton split needs a 20 inch round return. You never see this size return on a package unit. Does the return **** the filter in? I have had to add returns to large mobil homes because there just not designed right.
this is only a possibility. Is the temperature split on the equipment between 18 and 20 If it is then I don't thing you have an equipment problem. Also make sure there are no holes in the duct work.Last one I had unit was working fine but the duct work had a big hole in it from some animal under the trailer.
