I have the same problem. I turned it on and got the red flashing power indicator light and that is it.

The picture just cut off in the middle of watching a program. We've tried replacing the batteries in the remote. We've TRIED to turn the TV off and on on the set itself, but there is no response. My son turned flipped off the circuit breaker and we got it back for a couple minutes and it went out again. Now nothing works. The red indicator light for power just keeps blinking on and off.

I get a red screen and then it goes black no picture i get sound just no pic the red led light blinks 7 times

In most cases on these models the red crt is shorted and causes the set to go into a shutdown mode and flash the timer light 7 times. The part number for the red crt is 8-733-664-25 but is no longer available.

Panasonic PT50LC14 No Sound or Picture

unplug it, and let it set for a minute or 2, then try it again...if it does it again hit the power button again to turn it back on...also once the the tv turns on make sure you reset the counter for the bulb..that will also cause problems...to reset the counter press the (-) volume on the tv while holding down the (-) press spilt, pip on the reomte...the lamp will reset and the indicator will go out

Screen went blurry 20 minutes later no picture no sound just red flashing light on front

These sets had bad welds in the gun assemblies of the picture tubes. Now, one of the tubes has failed (shorted) and the cost would be too high to replace all three.
