Question about Heating & Cooling
Shut off the airconditioner for half an hour and then try it on.
If you get the message, it can be that the fan motor or the compressor motor is not working.
Check to see if the capacitor of the fan or the compressor is bad and not letting it start up.
Sometimes if the fault has occurred while running then it can be voltage protection due to a surge.

Tips for a great answer:
E1-Automatic filter clean
Turn the air conditioner OFF and
unplug it. NOTE: The air conditioner must be unplugged for the automatic
filter clean timer to reset.
Clean the filter. See the Care and Cleaning section in your use&care manual. After cleaning, replace the filter and plug the air conditioner back in.
