VIN numbers are often difficult to read and numbers get transposed. A capital "o" looks like a zero, etc. And transposition has happened at the DMV when title changes etc. My best advice is to look at the VIN as posted on the door frame sticker. If it's not there, you vehicle may be less than not-stolen. In that case look to dash, drivers side, base of windshield for riveted plate. CAREFULLY copy the VIN as stamped. Pay particular attention to O vs zero. Zero will usually look like a capital O with slash through it. Another misread is between numbers 3 and 8. When front half of 8 gets worn it looks like a three.

My grandaghter is 10 years old and has had a facebook acount for about 6 months. She just chats with her friends. Somehow her account was deleted by facebook and there saying someone hacked into it. ...

Grandma M, I suggest that you open a new account with anotgher email ID and add friends all over again. It can't be too difficult to get together all the friends of a 10 year old! Make sure the password is complex with numbers and letters with some capital letters. It's accounts with simple passwords that get hacked easy. Please tell your grandkid that she should ignore any emails supposedly from facebook asking her to login. This could be a phishing page trying to get her login and PW. She should login ONLY from the main page that is book marked.

Hello, The heater stopped working in my dryer. Is there a pilot light that could have burnred out? Model number LGR7620LW0 Whirlpool dryer

possibly the ignitor coil or high limit thermostat on the burner tube is defective, also the cycling thermostat or thermal fuse on the blower wheel housing can be bad or open, then the gas valve coils on the gas valve can be open and not letting gas into the unit to let it fire, usually they get weak and the flame extinguishes itself after a few minutes of operation, but they can open up and be bad immediately, there are 2 coils, replace both if this is your problem they are the main coil and secondary coil

If the speakers measure zero ohms, then the coil is shot. A speaker will not work if it has zero ohms. Replace the speaker. ALL speakers should read 4ohm, 8ohm or above. Zero means the coil wire is shoted. That there is no continuity.

I have a whirlpool gas dryer mod #LGR7620LW0. Some heat, good airflow, is there a cause for low heat?

run with vent off for 1 load and see what the results are, just cause you have airflow does not mean it is sufficient, too long a vent can cause that too. and low heat is almost impossible, check it with a thermometer at the exhaust, no vent connected, it should read 155 to 170, it will go up and down!

Dryer not heating, replaced igniter, told by repairmen to check inline fuse but we cannot find it, model LGR7620LW0, also curious if flame sensor could be defective

The first thing to look at would be the thermal fuse. It is usually mounted on the exhaust duct at rear of dryer. It's about one inch long. You can test it for continuity with a multimeter. If it has no continuity, it is bad and needs replaced. If the ignitor is glowing, but the gas isn't igniting, I would look next at the gas valve coils. They are right above the gas valves. They are solenoids that, when energized, open the gas valves. If the thermal fuse is not the problem, then I would look at the coils. It is hard to test them, so it is best to replace both (all) of them at the same time. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Unknown Code

The service manual for that machine states that your THERMISTOR is out of order. The Thermistor is part of the drying part of the machine. I've uploaded the service manual for you to take a look at - should be up in 24 hours they tell me, but you can always search for it online elsewhere (that's how I got it.) You should be able to order the replacement part from
