1. Consider the following output from DataDesk when analyzing the pH values of the 1986 data collected on precipitation events. Summary stats for 1986 NumNumeric = 55 NumNonNumeric = 0 NumCases = 55 Mean = 6.0673 Median = 6.1000 Std Deviation = 0.47339 1 Range = 2.4000 Minimum = 4.6000 Maximum = 7 75-th %ile = 6.4000 Which of the following is NOT CORRECT? (a) The 25th percentile is about 5.9. (b) Some outliers appear to be present below a pH of 5.4. (c) About 95% of the observations have pH values in the approximate range 6 ± 1. (d) About 10% of the values are in the range 5.8 to 6.0. (e) About 75% of the values are less than 6.4.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Select the model motherboard you have and click on the CPU support link, it will show you a list of CPU's that are supported. You have a socket 939 board and AMD CPU's are now AM2, AM2+ and AM3 socket, which are 940 pin. It may be difficult to find a new CPU for your motherboard that is new since they have not been made in awhile.

Error stat

Are the data in L1 and l2 in any way related? If they are (being x-values and y-values of some data set) then you need to do regression analysis (2-var stats)
If they are not related (connected) you can calculate the mean of each group separately.
Do 1-var stat by specifying the L1 list first (may be the default), get your average of the values in L1. Then you can do 1-var stat on the data in L2 by specifying the list L2 on the command line.
1-var L2 ENTER
Note: What I am describing here is valid for the TI 83 Plus/TI84 Plus, but I suspect the steps are similar to the TI 82.

Sharp advanced EL-531x how to input number after number for stats

First you have to set the calculator in STAT mode, presumably Standard Deviation or SD. The display should show a STAT annoucer to the top. To enter values use the key M+ (or the key next to which is marked DATA. The screen displays the number of data values entered so far.
To get the statistics you must use the keys marked with x bar, n, Sigma x, etc.

My TI-84 plus silver edition doesnt allow me to use the comma when using the 1-Var Stats button.. I can't use more then one list and I need the mean of both lists

Pay attention to the name: 1-var statistics mean you have ONLY one list of data. So you cannot use two. However if some data values are repeated you may choose to create a FREQuency list. So at most you have two list, one for the data values and the second for their frequency.
When you use the 1-var stat, specify the list that holds the data value (Xlist) and one the FREQ line specify the list that has the frequency

If your data values are in L1 and L2 or any pair of lists, then you should do 2-var stats. You will get the stats of both lists, you can also perform regressions, etc.

How to i do std deviation and sample mean

Example: Enter the following x variables, and determine the sample and population standard deviations.
x = {1,2,3}
  • Press [DATA] and begin to enter the data as indicated into the L1, L2 or L3 lists. To input a data point, type the value and press [ENTER]. Press the down arrow key to move on to the next data point.
  • Press [2nd], [STAT], and then choose 1-VAR.
  • For the "DATA" option, choose the listname the data is stored in (L1, L2 or L3). For the "FRQ" option, choose "ONE" since this data does not include a frequency list.
  • Arrow down to "CALC" and press [ENTER].

    Answers should be as follows:
    3:Sx (Sample Standard Deviation) = 1
    4:sx (Population Standard Deviation) = 0.816497
  • Press [2nd] [MODE] to exit STAT mode.

How do I calculate pH from H+ concentration on a ti 30a? [H+] 1.2 x 10 -5 M = ? pH = 4.9 I worked out pH to concentration but struggling for the opposite figured it out once and...

You calculate the pH with the relation
pH=-log(c) where c is the value of concentration in mol/L.
ex: c[H+]= 3.57x10^(-6)
pH: (-) [LOG] 3.57 [2nd][EE] [(-)] 6 [ ) ]
Here you have 2 change sign key press [(-)]

If you have the pH, and want to calculate the concentration that yields that value of the pH you proceed as follows
c= 10^(-pH)
Ex pH=8.23
c: [2nd][LOG] [(-) 8.23 [)]

General shortcut.
If concentration is of the form c[H+]= 1*10^(-a) where a is an integer between 0 and 14, the pH is equal to the positive value of exponent.

Ex:c[H+]=1x10^(-5) Mol/L then the pH is just the positive value of the exponent, ie 5 because pH=-log(1.x10^-5) =- log1 -log(10^-5)=0 -(-5)=5
Above I use the rule log(axb)=log(a)+log(b) , the rule log(a^b) = b*log(a)and the facts that log(1)=0 and log(10)=1, the last being true if log stands for log in base 10.

What are the steps to solving for pH?

What do you mean by solving for the pH?
Do you have the concentration? if YES, you CALCULATE the pH with the relation
pH=-log(c) where c is the value of concentration in mol/L.
ex: c= 3.57x10^(-6)
pH: (-) [LOG] 3.57 [2nd][EE] [(-)] 6 [ ) ]
Here you have 2 change sign key press [(-)]

If you have the pH, and want to calculate the concentration that yields that value of the pH you proceed as follows
c= 10^(-pH)
Ex pH=8.23
c: [2nd][LOG] [(-) 8.23 [)]

Here is a screen capture to show you both calculations

you should have seen and entry, right ?

name type Data
eventlog Reg_DWORD 0x00000000 (0)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To change the DATA value, double click on the NAME Eventlog
A small window will open that says "edit DWORD value"

Value Name: event log
leave this the same, it is not changeable

Value Data:
Change this data to 0
You can go back into the registry to confirm this value was changed, then turn off your computer and turn it back on again.

This should work for you.

[Stat] - Data numbers (frequency) < 1 (not integer) on TI 85 Calc

Frequencies are always integers. They indicate how many times that particular data value came up. The data values may be non-integers.

As an example, let's say you're measuring the weights of widgets. You may have 3 widgets weighing 1.1 kg, 5 widgets weighing 1.2 kg, and 2 widgets weighing 1.3 kg.

Note that the data are non-integers (1.1, 1.2, 1.3) but the frequencies are integers (3, 5, 2).
