Question about Televison & Video
Hi there , i have the same fault with my la40m51bs , there was a fault with the t-con pcb at back of the screen , the small fuse marked cp had gone open , best match to this that i could find was a 32v 2.5a from a laptop backlight board , replace the cp fuse and it worked fine , the backlight on this set was fine just no picture , did notice the 2 small regulators had been getting hot so added a thick thermal pad between pcb & metal shield .

There are several failures that can cause your symptom; no video signal, vertical failure, filament voltage missing.
