Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

My Motorola RAZR stopped receiving service earlier this evening. I charged it while it was turned off, hoping that would do some good. Unfortunately, when I turned the phone back on, there was no service and the clock and date had been reset, as well as all the times of my previous calls and text messages. Help!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a Motorola RAZR V3x which has worked reliably for about 3 years. Very recently (having been recharged a couple of hours earlier & without any prior suggestion of impending battery failure), the phone has refused to turn on and attempts to charge it with the factory charger do not even light the blue charge indicator. An attempt to charge it through the computer's USB port lit the blue charge indicator for about 1 second but also failed to charge the battery.

Frozen phone

Hello Gary,

Remove the back cover, remove the battery and remove the Sim Card and Memory if you have it, now put the Sim card back in put the battery back in and try and power up, if it powers up add the memory back in. if it dose not power up try to plug in the charger and power it on if this dose not work go to you local Service Provider and have them check the battery. if the battery checks out ok then you will need to replace the Phone.

Hope this helps,
Jason

Motorola RAZR V3 No signal (bars)

I had the same problem with my phone- i got a cheap generic battery to replace the old one (which wasn't holding a charge for a full day, at that) and then i lost all signal, basically. I tried what scm_pa said he did - charged my old battery up, with the phone off, till the charge was complete- turned the phone on, and voila, reception!

Screen won't turn on

It's very possible that your phone's flex cable is either broken or disconnected from the screen. The flex cable would have to be replaced or reconnected. The reconnection is not too bad but replacing the flex cable is a way bit tedious.I'll choose the first option to see if this works. You'll have to take this to a qualified phone repair shop. These phones are very technical to work on even for someone who knows about them. SAM !
