DS161 controller Can you change operation so works with out brake with out programmer or another way For merits scooter Thanks

If I understand your question, you would like to run your scooter without an electromagnetic brake. This is never a good idea. The controller looks electronically for the brake resistance of between 40 and 60 ohms before it will allow the motor to work. Theoretically you could put a resistor in series to fool the controller. With a programmer you can adjust the braking parameters and specifications and possibly defeat the function. I have not tried this since it is unsafe. Invest in a new brake for your scooter and you will live long and prosper. Hope this helps.

2007 Nissan altima 105xxx miles. Slow & cranking start. Turns over a lot before firing up. It's a very quite chug. I had the brake switch relay fixed about 2 months ago at which point my car had completely...

It could be a vacuum leak in the engine. When you slam on the brakes, you rob vacuum pressure from the engine so your engine becomes starved of fuel and air temporarily. You should check all your hoses in the vacuum part of the engine.

What fluid is used in mobility scooters electronic brake for sterling sapphire

There is no fluids in either brake on on these, there is two braking systems, both electronically operated .when stopping or slowing up power generated in motor is returned to the battery .this rapidly retards the motor dynamically braking the scooter,a fraction of a second after stopping the electric parking brake is applied by removing its 24volt supply, this is the click you hear when starting or after stopping the scooter.the only servicing reqd is to dust of the casing of the electromagnetic parking brake. do not dismantle it,or oil test try to push scooter,if it moves easily when NOT in freewheel.replace it.

My Craftsman riding lawn mower LT2000 (2002/2003) stopped moving. The drive belt seems to be loose. The engine starts and cutting blade engages fine. Was working fine but stopped working when it started...

there should be a drive belt tensioner somewhere on the belt, it usually works off the clutch/brake, when you push on the brake it apply's the brake and also takes the tension off the belt to stop it from moving.
Not sure of your ride on mower but that is how my ride on mower works so I hope this helps.

How does the electromagnetic spectrum work?

The electromagnetic spectrum is the range of all possible frequencies of electromagnetic radiation.[1] The "electromagnetic spectrum" of an object is the characteristic distribution of electromagnetic radiation emitted or absorbed by that particular object.
The electromagnetic spectrum extends from low frequencies used for modern radio to gamma radiation at the short-wavelength end, covering wavelengths from thousands of kilometers down to a fraction of the size of an atom. The long wavelength limit is the size of the universe itself, while it is thought that the short wavelength limit is in the vicinity of the Planck length, although in principle the spectrum is infinite and continuous. Hope this helps.

2003 dodge ram 1500 abs & brake light came on. also cruise does not work. any suggestions

Problem: I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 L HEMI. My ABS and Parking Brake lights were illuminated, and my speedometer needle would "bounce". Also when sitting at a stop sign or just sitting idle, the engine would stall, and often times stop running.

Solution: After long research on this problem, I decided to dig in and try to find the problem myself. I replaced the Rear ABS Sensor
($35) that's located on top of the rear differential. Still no fix. I then unplugged the ABS Controller (or Module) that's located directly behind the battery (You should see the metal brake lines running into the top of it.) When I unplugged it, I noticed LOTS of moisture in the plug. Using an air hose, I blew out the water and let it dry good. When I plugged it back in, and hooked the negative battery terminal back up THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED!! Simple fix. Hope this helps.

Cruise control stop working can someone tell me how to fix myself

If all the brake lights are out it is likely your stop lamp switch is bad, it controls lights and cruse, and also supplies input to ecm/tcm. The old ones would just pop apart, you can put them back together but to replace the switch it is only 20-30 bucks. Try that.

Braking problems

The shaking is from the rotor being warped...that happens on a lot of car's these days and the pull is 9 times out of 10 the side that is in need to replace the rotor which is the typical fix or take a chance and hope that cutting it will fix that...I would replace the rotor and pads myself.
