Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

I have just bought an iphone 4 and i'm having problems with the connectivity to my Motorola HF850. I can pair the device but after a few seconds the connection drops off. If i make a call in the few seconds that the devices are paired then the call stays connected until i hang up, then it will lose connection again. The Motorola HF850 worked perfectly well with my Sony Ericsson C905.

Hello,

obviously, there is nothing wrong with your iphone and Motorola HF850. Its just that they are both not very compatible that's why its loosing connection frequently.

To confirm this, maybe you should borrow a blue-tooth and test it with your phone iphone. There will be no need testing the Motorola HF850, since it worked perfectly with your Sony Ericsson phone.

Good luck.

Need instructions for connecting ear piece to iphone 4

Hi,to complete the look of a tech-savvy, iPhone-using individual, you must have a Bluetooth headset to accompany it. You can pair any Bluetooth headset with an iPhone. The Motorola HS850 is no exception to this. Both Motorola and Apple's Bluetooth set-up process is fast, so you'll be talking with people through your new Bluetooth on your iPhone in a matter of minutes.

Instructions

Charge the Motorola HS850 headset fully before attempting to pair. Usually, it takes two to three hours to charge the headset.

Press and hold the "Call" button (has a phone icon on it) on the headset for six to 10 seconds. The outside LED light will turn on indicating that the phone is in pairing mode.

Choose "Settings" on the iPhone homescreen.

Select "General," then "Bluetooth."

Select to turn Bluetooth on.

Wait for the phone to search for in-range devices.

Select theMotorola HS850 from the list of devices.

Enter the headset passkey to complete the pairing. By default this is "0000."

Have a nice day..

I need a password to pair up my new htc phone to the HF850

It's asking you to create a password e.g 0000 to create a pair up, not enter one that you do not know.
Hope this helps.

Motorola handsfree kit

these kits are not very good and they are old, you are also unable to update software to work with new phones and the mic quality is poor.
go to your paired devices on your phones and change the hf850 to not connect automatically on both the phones, this may work.
If you can get a full refund and only pay the difference for a parrot it will be worth it. Also look at the THB Bury kit.

HF850 pairs with my Ericsson TM506 phone, but can't voice dial

The TM506 (also known as Bella) must support the Bluetooth Handsfree 0.96 profiling.

The HF850 supports Bluetooth Headshet v1.1, v1.2 and Handsfree 0.96 protocol.

Unless you can find otherwise, the TM506 doesn't support Bluetooth 0.96 Profiles. It is my understanding that on the TM506 you must program your voice commands and I understand that to be different.

Nonetheless, the TM506 works very well and seamlessly (other than voice dialing) with the HF850.
