I just bought a MAGNAVOX DTV TB100MW9. Before hook-up,we fot channels 4,6,10,20. After hook-up, all I am getting is 4 PBS channels. Why

I too bought Magnavox dtv receivers and can only get channel 4.1 for the normally local broadcast channels. Channels 4, 5, 7, and 9 are the normal channel plus some pbs channels. What I can get are a group of foreign channel broadcasts, which I do not want. I have a rabbit ear antenna on only one tv since all of the rest of my sets are satellite. I have tried orienting the antenna every way possible. I don't want to go out and buy a new antenna if the problem is with the dtv receiver. Any comments will be helpful.

Apprenticei have a sony dvd player for dvd disk and regular hs cassetes connected to a 6 year old GE TV.after I connected my Magnavox converter I get quite a few channels, not as many as before. I;m on a high hill several miles from Pittsburgh. I have a large rotatable anttena in my attic and several TV;s around the house with rabbit ears my TV reception is excellent on all TV antennas I receive now with the coverter channels 2.1, 4.1, 4.2, 8.1, 8.2, 11.1, 11.2, 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 22.1, 22.2, 53. 1,2,3. all with antennas. The problem I have is recording on my Sony recorder, what could be my problem. I can no longer record CH 4. I have my TV, recorder, and coverter on CH 3. I have tried different settings as to TV antenna or tv antenna/cable, nothing works
