It is most possibble that your computer is infested with a virus. You can try to search for malwares with a good anti virus but if the registry is infested then it will be bettter to have the OS reinstalled and before the drivers are installed please install a good antivirus with a daily update.
This must get yourr system faster. Please dont forget to clean all temp files, cookies and defragment to see if there is any improvementt before yo reinstall.
