Question about RTO Massey-Ferguson Tractor TE20, TO20, TO30, ITFE2
My first guess would be that you are not getting correct flow of fuel into the carburator. It would run for a short while on the fuel in the bowl then konk out when it gets exhausted. Waiting a while the fuel would build up and then run fine until it is exhausted again. First thing to do is check fuel flow by removing the line into the carb. If you are gettng good flow then I suggest removing the carb and cleaning paying special attention to the needle valve and float. If you have not had a carb kit installed in recent memory it may be a good idea to do that. I had multiple issues with my '50 until a complete cleaning and kit was installed.
