It plays all extentions fine but when playing an avi extention it starts to become very slow or skip

Best thing here to do is download divx www.divx.com this will load a better de compressor co-dec and will allow it to run smooth.

Other causes could be video card memory, System ram, Video card drivers, But try divx.com first let me know.

make sure they are in the right extention ex. AVI, WMV

and that they are around 320x240 to 640x480
