One fellow with a similar model explained what he did to a similar model:
http://www.ehow.com/how_5499974_unlock-kitchenaid-superba-oven-locked.html
Another person with a different model mentioned hitting cancel 3 times. Another method was to press function, (5), then (2).

T is a 2 to 3 hour process with a cool down time of 1 to 2 hours before it will unlock the door,,,if it does not unlock you will need to replace the door locking mechanism to accomplish this repair.. so ..if you just made th self cleaning ..it will be a period for the cooling down ..and only after that will unlock the door..but there is a possibility that from the high temperatures during the self cleaning process the door lock to be damaged and to need replacing ...you will see that if after you manage to unlock it is still functional or not..
if after a few hours it is still not unlocking ...try to reset it by keep down the start button for a few seconds...and try to shake the door gentle in case it is stuck ..or the volume increased from dilatation ..it has to came out ...after that try something to degrease the lock ..and make it functional again ..

I assumed that the stuff I presented you first was not on your taste or was to evasive..
If would get some item to do the job for a laptop this will be the one ..cause it does everithing ...is small compact ..good make ..and reliable
..(I repeat on a laptop is almost impossible to insert a internal one cause of the lack of PCI slots)

First of all, why did you post a question about an oven under a dishwasher question? What is a Selectra 30? That is not the model number. The model number of the dishwasher in the subject does not help. Without knowing anything else, I would say you have a bad control board.

We a kitchen aid oven the door was accidentally lock. Can you find out how to open it? Whirlpool owns kitchen aid

  • Look for a manual lever to unlock the oven. If there is one, it will probably swing back and forth horizontally, just below the upper edge of the oven door

  • Swing the locking lever, if one is present, all the way to the left. This should unlock the oven. If there is no manual lever to unlock the oven, it may be unlocked using push-button controls.

  • 3

Check to see if the oven is in a self-cleaning cycle, or has just completed a self-cleaning cycle. If so, the door will unlock automatically once the oven has finished the cleaning cycle and cooled completely, which may take several hours. You cannot unlock the oven before it has cooled.

  • 4

Unlock the "Clean/Off" button. Depending on the brand and model of your oven, the button may display both of these designations or just one. If your oven door is locked, but the oven is not warm and is not in a cleaning cycle, unlock it by pressing and holding the "Clean/Off" button.

Kitchen Aid Oven - Superba Selectra- receive

    Hi,

Here is what Kitchen Aid says about F4:

    F4 Meat probe shorted
    1. Disconnect meat probe and measure probe resistance (78kω at 60° F [15.6° C],
    37kω at 90° F [32.2° C]).
    2. If resistance is not valid replace probe.
    3. Insert probe and check for a firm connection between probe and jack (in oven cavity).
    4. Check connection between jack and harness (in rear of oven).

It sounds like the probe jack may be bad or the wiring between the jack and the control board above.

Kitchen aid double convection oven - glass needs cleaning!

Had to remove the screws on the BOTTOM of the outside door, then panel came off after all the screws (inside oven door included) were off...
Reversed the order to put back on.. Cleaned (all) three glass pieces nicely... Now after reading the problems with the self cleaning part (doors getting stuck!) - I'm afraid to try mine!

Door won't unlock after attempting the self clean. Self clean failed

Usually an F3 code means the temp sensor has failed. The oven control thinks the oven is to hot to open. You may have a failed control, but I would try replacing the sensor first.
Post back with any questions. Have been very busy at work and have not been online answering questions much lately but will answer back when I can.
    Thanks, Mike
