Mcdevito75 here, I a;lso have the Belkin wireless, try shutting down your computer and re start. Or, before you put in your pin, remove the router wire from the back (USB port) of your computer for 15 seconds and try again.

I am trying to download the netflix app on the nintendo wii from the wii shop channel online and I keep getting the error code:204965

There may be a problem with your connection on the Wii. I would try erasing the connection on the Wii and starting over. If that still doesn't work, when is the last time you updated?
The Wii may not be able to use the wireless it has because of the broadcast channel from the router. You would need to go into the routers settings and change the channel to either 1 or 11. The default is usually 6 but that tends to be weak. Retry the connection.

You can do a hard reset. There is a button on the back of the router. Push and hold for 10 seconds and it will reset all information on the router. YOu might have to use a paper clip.

Internet connection

Well, unfortunately, the only people who can help you with this are either your network providers (most likely) or your router manufacturer, as the system settings are specific to the network and/or router ..

just wanted to clarify

* have you tried connecting desktop and laptop straight to the router? (because with your statement you only connect both computers straight to the modem and only the laptop works fine).
