I really don't know if there's a reset switch but if it's electronic, there should be a fuse on the circuit board

Heater not working properly we put on heat it comes up cooler what I have 2 do

This worked for me try and reset your furnace while you're at it change the filter never hurts a furnace in need. My furnace has a switch on/off like a light switch externally however some don't if you have an older furnace you may have to manually light your furnace it would help if you listed your furnace model number. Try and find your furnace owners manual if you don't have it look online or contact company who build it. Also some states in the us don't run gas to homes until a certain time of year. I live in Northern Minnesota so its year round here just wondering if this also could be an issue.

Ive cleaned my filters but the unit puts out an awful smell, i was wondering if there are any more filters that could be changed besides the from two or if i should clean any other parts to help. any...

The smell is probably coming from mold and bacteria built up in the drain pan and condensor coils. Ther are products available at the local hardware stores that can help in the cleaning of the unit. Arm and hammer used to make filters with baking soda to help remove odors, but we need to remove the source. try cleaning and rinsing the coils and drain pan and line on your unit. Here is one of the many products made for this job.

My A/C just went off yesterday night, it says E2,now i cleaned the filter but i don't know where's the reset button... where is it?

The easiest way to reset the electronics is turn the Master On/OFF Switch to OFF & unplug it for 10 minutes. The plug the unit back in and Turn the switch ON. During that time out, the electronics should have reset and reverted back to the original factory setting. You can then set the controls as you wish.

Hope this was of help and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Have an Amana air command 80 sse... and a HOT house! The AC comes on for a few minutes and then shuts off. The filter is clean... am wondering if there's a reset button. I have looked all around and...

Due to the many different questions I see about Air Conditioning, I am including this overview to help us better understand each other for trouble shooting. A basic air conditioning system has a Thermostat, Air Handler or Furnace Fan and a Condensing unit. In a split system, the condensing unit (Condenser) is separate from the furnace and usually in the back yard. When working properly, it blows hot air. It connects to the cooling part of the system by 2 copper lines. One large line and 1 small line. The part that cools the house is the "Evaporator" and is usually on top of the furnace inside the square metal box (Plenum). When the Air Conditioner is running, the large copper line should be cold and the smaller line should be warm. Common signs of low refrigerant are that both lines are the same temperature and/or frost or ice has built up on the large line at the condenser. The thermostat will normally display room temperature on till it is touched to change the setting. It could have a "Span" setting as well as times and temperatures. The operating "span" of MOST residential thermostats is 40 to 90 degrees. That means you can set it as low as 40 degrees and no higher than 90 degrees. It probably has a fan switch also. When in the "ON" position, the fan will run constantly, 24 / 7, but the condenser will still cycle on and off as needed to keep the house at set point. If you have a suggestion to include in this paragraph, please let me know. Roger

Most condensing units have low pressure safety switches in them. If your system is low on refrigerant, the compressor will run a little and shut off. When the pressures across the compressor equalize, it will come back on. This cycle will repeat on till enough gas has leaked to stop resetting the pressure switch. If this is what is happening, shut the condenser off. Short cycling will over heat the compressor. You will need a technician to find and fix the leak. Also to recharge your system when repaired. Let me know if I failed to help. Roger

My dimpex electri heater model 6902340100 suddenlt died. Is there a reset or a fuse to restore it to use? The main on off switched seemed to freeze in one position then the unit stopped working.

It just may need resetting. If you can, turn OFF the Master Control Switch and unplug the heater. Leave unplugged for 12 to 15 minutes. Plug the heater back in and turn the Master On/Off Switch to ON. If everything works as normal, then the heater successfully reset itself. If this continues to be an issue, unplug the heater and call Dimplex USA, Technical Service 888-346-7539.

Hope this helps to solve your problem. Please be kind enough to let me know.

I have an eldectalog stove heater, worked wonderful all winter until now. the "Lights" come on but no matter the settings I change on the back it continues to opperate like the no heat setting....

The system may need resetting. Turn the Master ON/OFF switch to OFF. Unplug the unit and wait 12 to 15 minute. Plug the unit back in, turn the Master ON/OFF switch to ON and operate as you normally would. If it reset it should work normally. If it doesn't the heat overload switch has failed and needs to be replaced.

Hey there, I have a Tork 1101 time switch. I actually have 2 right next to each other for different controls. I wired both of them and I know they're wired correctly. One works fine and i have no...

It sounds like the clock motor has gone bad, which is why the trippers cause the wheel to stall.
Frontier lighting sells the clock motor for 43$:,Photo.Cells...Time.Controls,Replacement.Motors

Why one of the timers works fine and the other habitually fails is a mystery. You might use a circuit analyzer or test the load. Try switching loads to other timer.

Since the Tork 1101 clock motor sells for $43, I suggest T-101 as crossover product in Intermatic.
Amazon sells T101 for $42.99
T-101R raintight sells at Lowes
