The heat is not sensed out and so the control secctionis faulty .
It can be primarrily the thermostat or then the next opttion is the control timer unit.
Replace the unit if you are not able to see/test a defective component. Trigger test the thermostat on the control unit and if it works the therrmostat is faulty,
However if there is no reponse, then the control unit is faulty.

Moisture control

Dryers have 2 basic types: AUTODRY and Electronic. The electronic moisture control relies on 2 bars inside the dryer. As wet clothes rub these bars the wetness discharges the capacitor on the moisture control board. As long as the cap don't get a full charge the timer motor will not advance forward to the end of cycle. What goes wrong on these? Wax buildup on moisture bars form a barrier that keeps wetness off them bars. The control thinks them clothes is dry and shuts her down. On autodry the timer motor advances very slowly, The motor does not work while the heating element is on. Only when the heating element is off does the timer motor advance. As them clothes gets dryer the temp inside the dryer stays warmer and therefore the dryer thermostat keeps the heater off long and the timer motor advances. Like being on a highway with traffic jam you go a little bit then stop then go a little bit more then stop. Finally you get there. So what goes wrong? The control thermostat is not functioning properly causing the heater limit to do all the work . Instead the heater limit has to do the work and it ain't a real happy camper. Makes them clothes get too hot. They come out wrinkled.

The Dryer is running too hot (red hot) and not turning off or running it's cycle.

You want to do a few things to correct this. First make sure your air flow is good. then replace the cycling thermostat. That stat is mounted on the blower housing right next to the fuse:

I recently worked on a dryer that was doing this exact thing and I replaced the control thermostat.
My friend Larry brought it by because it was overheating and he had already changed the fuse once.
I always see the tough or the strange. LOL. Anyway I took the dryer completely apart and cleaned it up real good. Replaced the fuse and observed the dryer with the back off. I watched the heating element and it just stayed on way too long. Normally you can hear the control clicking and observ the element coming on and off. The cycling thermostat has 4 wires. 2 small wires and 2 large wires. The large wires carry the current to the heater element. The 2 small wires are use to warm up the klixon so that it will shut down even faster for knits and perma press items. So what goes wrong? The bimetal inside the control simply gets fatigued and don't shut down no more. The dryer overheats and the fuse blows.

Dryer shuts off after about 10 minutes. Motor feels hot, real hot. I think it is overheating and shutting off. The lower the setting the longer it will run. Is it the Thermal fuse or thermostat?

There might be a problem with the bushing of the dryer motor that causes the rotor to become shorted with the magnetic field and that's the reason why it becomes too hot. It is also the reason why the thermostat shuts off the motor when it becomes too hot to avoid overheating. Replace the bushing of your motor.

Kenmore Heater continues to run when motor has stopped

It sounds like you have a grounded heating element. If the dryer can be turned off but the heating element continues to get hot, that indicates a grounded heating element. Be Very Careful. There could be power running thru the dryer case. I would unplug the machine and check out the heating element. Hope this helped and best wishes.

No hot water - Rinnai tankless hot water heater

sounds like the water line is frozen before it gets to heater. You can take a blow dryer and try to thaw the line. You should be able to hook up a hose on the hot side of water heater. turn valve off so it wont flow into house. You can turn on hot water valve on in kitchen but you will have to thaw cold and hot line. Make sure you know where water shut off is to the house just in case a line breaks.
