Replace power supply

Are you sure the power pack has failed? That should be straightforward and fairly cheap. Note carefully the model and type on the present one, then shop around.
  • Power Supply
    Internal 220W (100V-240V)
Form factor: Internal for slim form factor
  • Total wattage: 220W
  • Nominal input voltage range:
    • 100-127V/6A (50-60Hz)
    • 200-240V/3A (50-60Hz)
  • Dimensions: 200mm x 85mm x 53mm (7.9 x 3.3 x 2.1 inches)
  • This power supply has an LED to indicate a possible failure condition when the LED is off and power is connected.

I bought my Norelco 4821XL shaver in usa--can I recharge from 220v mains or do I need to use the shaver outlet/transfromer?

From the Service Manual: "The HQ4821 shaver can be recharged in 8 hours by means of a ’Fly Back Self Oscillating Power supply’. This electronic circuit enables the battery to be charged at 100-240V, 50/60Hz."

In other words, it's got worldwide voltage. Hotel rooms should have a power point you can plug it into. Otherwise you'll just need a simple travel adaptor.

Replacing power supply main

your best bet is to check owneres manual and keep with what they suggest however when ordering you may want to ask for tech support to see what they say but i would stick with what you had especially if it worked great that way you dont want to overpower your tv if that is what it was used to ..if it ain't broke don't fix it i hope that helps
