Question about Estate TEDX640JQ Electric Dryer
YOu have only checked on the outside and it looks fine. But you might have to take a look into the dryer to find the fault that is not letting the machine run.
So if you are familiar, check the power from the plug through the fuse to the control unit. If the settings are set right and the door is latched then the unit must work. But check the door latch and see if the safety trigger is coming to the board. If the motor hums check for the failure of the starter capacitor... the motor when touched will be warm.
If not the control board might be faulty, check power to unit, check relay , if diplay is right you can get the fault if probed logically.
If not familiar get help and I dont think it might be expensive exceptt for the control board and motor,.
Hope this helps.
