Question about Graphics Cards
Driver for intel graphic chipset 82845G/GE/GL/GV for vista
Hate to say this but I don't think there is one.
Windows Vista is not Legacy compliant (that is it is not designed to work with older hardware or programs). This was a decision made by Microsoft when developing the Operating System.
Note - Microsoft has only recently released the development tools for third party software developers to use to make their programs Vista compliant (12 months after releasing Vista!).
These are the reasons that I have twice installed and Uninstalled Vista - It reeks of Windows ME!
My only suggestion (which I just tried) is to do a Google search using the following string:
(Motherboard brand name) (Model number) +driver
and see if you can come up with anything.
Contact the Motherboard manufacturer through their website and see if they have plans to create a Vista Driver. I am assuming that you have already gone to their Support area to try to find a driver.
Failing finding a Vista Driver for the On Board Video Adapter, you may need to buy a Video Card that is Vista compliant.
Don't blame me - Microsoft made this decision during the development phase of Vista!
