Question about Computers & Internet
The CD does not actually "install" the router. It sets it up for you to connect to your ISP, and set up your network. But if you have an ethernet cable you should be able to connect to the router and manually set it up. Usually the address for the router is 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1. Type this into your web browser address bar.You will need several addresses that you can get from your ISP provider. They are as follows:
WAN IP; Subnet mask; Gateway IP; DNS address; and secondary DNS address. If this is too technical for you I see two options. Go to a friends house and download the manual from your router manufacturers web site or get the contact number from their website and give their technical support a call. They should be able to walk you through the setup. But they will also need the addresses I mentioned above. Good luck

You don't need a installation CD for a router. You connect to the router through the web browser. In the URL window write 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 to log in to the router. You need to be connected to the routher though, preferably with a LAN cable.
