I just bought a DVD/VHS VIDEO player/recorder from bestbuy but it was a floor model, model no. ns-1drvcr,serial no.702026722. Can you send me a owners manual?

Here is the owner's manual for your DVD machine. This is a VHS recorder but not a DVD recorder. To record VHS tapes to DVDs, you will need a DVD recorder.
You will plug the yellow video out connector on the VHS to the yellow 'Video in' connector on the DVD Recorder. Do the same for the red and white audio connections, out on the VHS, IN on the DVD Recorder. Connect your TV to the DVD recorder so you can see the picture you are recording.

I believe that unit is a DVD player only and deos not record to DVD.

Converting VHS to DVD

All you have to do is buy a vhs to dvd recorder. They sell those everywhere, like costco, walmart, etc. They keep getting cheaper and cheaper...
They will come with a manual with model specific instructions, but usually its pretty easy. The cassette plays and the device records the video onto the dvd.
They also play vhs and dvds too XD.

yes it has to be finilized use very compatable media by memorex DVD-R this wil solve everyones problems
