Hi i have recently joined fixya and have been helping to resolve problems .because of a recent upgrade ie a new computer. you now refuse to recognise my email address /and my password .ive even triedto rejoin with my same email address of which you say some one all ready has this address how can you resolve this problem.....

Can you go back to your old computer open the fixya site then right click add to favourites then copy the link paste it to usb drive

UPGRADING TO LATEST VERSION OF INTERNET EXPLORER WITH WINDOWS 7

If you have Automatic Updates enabled, once you are connected to the internet, your computer will automatically download the very latest version of Internet Explorer (this is currently IE9) to your computer during one of the early Automatic Updates downloads and will continue to automatically upgrade it as new versions are launched in future.

You can also go to the official Microsoft IE Downloads and Support website and manually download and install your chosen version of Internet Explorer from there at:

I recently upgraded to IE 9 and everytime i try to share with a friend on farmville it says it can't do it because of the script


My wife was having the same problem on two computers, both running IE 9. I just had her use compatibility mode and that seems to have solved her issue. Have not tried the other computer but I imagine it will fix it there as well.

Hi,

Videos on YouTube are streamed through Adobe Flash player. If you're having trouble playing and viewing videos YouTube, we suggest you install the latest version of the Flash player: this will allow you to easily play YouTube videos.
Here's how to upgrade to the most recent version of Adobe's Flash Player:
  1. Before installing the most recent version of Adobe Flash player, you will need to first uninstall any older versions of the Flash player you've installed in the past and currently have running on your computer.

    Please completely uninstall the version of Flash you're currently running, before upgrading to the most recent version. To uninstall Flash, follow Adobe's instructions, listed here. You'll need to download Adobe's official Uninstaller to remove Flash.

  2. Once you've uninstalled the older version of Flash, you'll be ready to upgrade to the most recent version of Flash.
    To upgrade to the most recent version of the Flash player, please follow these steps:

    1. Follow Adobe's instructions for reinstalling the most recent version of Flash.
    2. Once you've downloaded the latest version of Adobe Flash, please exit your browser.
    3. Finally, click to install the update that you just downloaded to your computer from the Adobe Flash site.

  • Right-click on the following file: FlashUtil9b.exe or FlashUtil9e.exe.
  • Select "Run as Administrator" and install the update..
  • Restart your computer.

Netgear DG834g routing issues

Upgrade the firmware on the router. If possible assign static IPs on the computers.

I recently added a graphics card to my computer it allows me to listen to my DVDs but refuses to allow me to watch anything but a green screen.Please resolve if possible


try going into the bios and turning off any oboard graphics that you have. if this does not sort out the problem, try downloading a coaec pack like the k-light codec pack (just look on google) hope this helps

No power anymore


It's not a problem with your Direct TV upgrade. We had the same problem, and evenutally the unit refused to even power on. We had received an interface error message, which instructed us to power off the unit. It never came back on.

Ditch the unit and get a new one. You will be glad you did.
