Question about Intel (RK80532PG0881M) Pentium 4, 3 GHz Processor

1 Answer

Pop Ups In the lower right hand corner of my desktop I have a flashing sign that pops up every 2-3 minutes telling me that I have a security breach. When I click on it, it goes to a website to try and sell me anti spyware. I have run a complete scan with Norton and my computer is fine. How do I get rid of this annoying icon? Also when I click on Internet, the sales site come up even though I have set Yahoo as my home page. Thanks

You are infected with a virus/trojan. Sorry to say the easiest way to remove it is to reformat you hard drive. Your registery is now infected.

If you want to try to remove it, something like ad-ware or spy bot. It's free, but it will not remove all the trojan on your computer. I seen this happen to alot of people. You can google your problem and see alot of people are in the same boat as you.

My tablet won't turn on after i charged it

Try holding down the button on corner end and at same time hold the volume up button, keep both depressed for about a minute and should reboot.

If that does not work try the corner button and volume DOWN button for the same minute timeframe.

NEC VERSA M540 - Performing slow

Try downloading ad-aware. Run it and see if that speeds it up. It is a spyware killer (pop-ups), also clean your hard drive up with a disk clean up option and a degragmentation. If it is still running slow, try a ram up grade.

First off, when you want to delete a program; I suggest getting REVO uninstaller. Revo will not only delete the program using the original removal method; but it looks into the registry for Left Over commands and erases them from there. The other thing you may experience is, your Internet Exployere has been changed from the original opening page to SweetIM. Got to the Gear Icon in the upper right corner of the page. right click, and got to the internet options and make the page MSN.com. Restart the Internet and see if that changes the opeing page to MSN. If so you may have eliminated the Sweet!

Click anywhere on the desktop so that the word "Finder" appears to the right of the Apple logo on the top left corner of the screen.
Select the APPLE logo in the upper left hand corner.
Select "About this Mac..."
That will pop up a windows with the version information from MacOS X.

Security alert pop-ups every few seconds

Try going to trendmicro.com and look for "Housecall" Run that and see if it finds anything... If it doesn't go through with that you might have to format the drive and reinstall Windows after having backed up data (.doc files, etc.)
