Depending on the model remove the outside panels of the unit and you should be able to see were it should be draining you should be able to just clean out the drain and be fine if it has a hose on it use compressed air and blow through it

Why does my air conditioner leak water on passager side floor

The Evaporator box has a Drain tube, this is blocked and not letting the water drain off ,hence the build up of water in the box which will overflow into the passengers side .
The drain tube needs to be unblocked to let the water drain off.

Drain clogged

Water is supposed to drain down a small drain line to a pan down near the compressor where warm air from the condenser fan will blow warm air over the water and evaporate the water again an put it back into the air inside your home, office or wherever your refrigerator is located. Over time that little drain tube gets slime, algae and a gooey white paste gunk that fills the drain line sides up stopping the waterflow downward to the condensate pan below refrigerator. If blocked by gunk or ice you will see trails of liquid leaking down the rear wall of fresh food compartment until it reaches the crisper drawers. Gunk is an accumulation of algae slime and just crud that appears from nowhere in a refrigerators defrost condensate drain line. How a refrigerator leaks is not always the same with every model as you may see frozen ice flowing down the rear wall of freezers on side by sides. Here is an example of a ET18PKXGTO Whirlpool refrigerator leaking water into a cup below the freezer compartment. Click here=> Whirlpool Leak Photo taken by TechnicianBrian. TechnicianBrian.com. And in this photo are several parts listed in photo group #1 were it is most likely running down the wall=> MagicChef CTB1921AR fresh food section. If you still have questions please ask and rate me if I was able to explain this well enough. Every refrigerator is made different so these are examples only. The key is to find if ice or just gunk has blocked you defrost drain. Unplug and then remove the rear panel in back of freezer. We need to see if the water is overflowing the condensate drain tray or if the blockage is in the turn the drain leads down back of your refrigerator. Much more on this page=> Leaking Refrigerators! If you run into any problems along the way of repair please let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Water is leaking from the air conditioner

If you are operating the dehumidifier function, as well as the AC function. The water collection tank for the dehumidifier side may be full and overflowing. Or the water line that runs to the water collection tank may be clogged. I suspect, it's the latter.

CAUTION: BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY SERVICE ON THE UNIT, TURN THE MASTER ON/OFF SWITCH TO OFF AND UNPLUG THE UNIT FROM THE WALL OUTLET.

To unclog it, you'll need an 18" long, plastic Zip Tie appropriately sized to fit inside the tubing. Carefully insert the Zip Tie into the tubing and gingerly work it past the bend in the tube, until the Zip Tie bottoms out or you run out os usable Zip Tie. Slowly pull the Zip Tie out while rotating (twisting) it. This will dislodge any clogs. As you reach the end of the Zip Tie, be prepared for some water to follow.

I hope this helps you solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

THE AIR CONDITIONER LEAKS WATER FROM THE FRONT OF THE UNIT.

Look for the drain line coming out of the unit typically in the bottom. Clear out this drain line with a vacuum or water hose. It should begin to drain and stop leaking.

If the leaking continues, you may have a cracked drain pan or severe drain blockage.

Where do I find the air conditioner drain tube

The air conditioner condensation drain is under the hood not inside the car. The fluid is probably a leaking heater coil. It is located on the passenger side firewall.

When using the air conditioner, i find there is water on my passenger floorboards. what is causing this?

there is a device under the passenger side of the dash,, called an evaporator.. for the ac!!!,, this is leaking (the lines connected to it,, or your gas is running low (ac gas) have an ac guy top up the gas for you !!! and it will stop,, unless the lines are broken which is very unlikely..

Leaking water

Is this a car? a home window unit?If it is a home window unit, take the air conditioner out of the window/wall,and take it out side and wash the unit out with water hose.Be careful not to bend the fins over on the coils, this will restrict air flow.If the coils are nasty, use a product called purple power. You can purchase this at auto parts.Use this purple power full strength in a spray bottle and spray all over the coils, and let it set for about 10 minutes, and rinse.Repeat as necessary .Fan the water hose nozzle out so not to flatten the fins on the coils. When you put ac unit back in wall/window,make sure the ac unit has a tilt on it leaning outward, and down,to assure the water drains outward on the ground. If the ac unit your talking about is in a car,you will have to get under the car, with a flash light and look up under the firewall. There will be a tube,or a plastic spout coming out of the ac box,for drainage of condensation.Take a skinney wire, and run it in ,and out of the tube or spout until the water starts pouring out like a waterfall. If it does not unclog, use air pressure.I hope this helps, let me know if it does.

Fujitsu wall mounted air conditioner leaks into the room

Make sure the unit is level, this is very important. Check for blocked drain tube, which runs from the bottom of the drain pan under the cold coil to the outside. Clear tube with a piece of coathanger wire, be gentle.
