I cannot get my thermostat althc014 to turn down by its self when room tempreature is reached

How To
Set The Temperature

The reason the stat is coming on during the night/ always
being on is setting number 5, there are 5 settings on the Salus

1
is the time you want heating on eg, 07.00 and set the temp (20)

2
is the time you want it to go off eg, 10.00 and set the temp (10 this
will turn it off)

3 is the time to come on an evening eg. 17.00
and set the temp (20)

4 is the time you want it to go off eg,
23.00 and set the temp (10 this will turn it off)

5 the problem
many people have is that they do not set number 5 correctly, this is a
night/ frost stat and if you don't set the time and temperature same as 4
ie, 23.00 and 10*c then the heating will stay on.

How To Set The Time and Date On Salus Programmer?

and press "SELECT"

8."dLS" will
now appear. This is the "DAY LIGHT SAVING" mode to turn "ON" or "OFF"
use the "UP" and "DOWN" arrow keys. Now press "SELECT"

Hope this information is what you need to operate your unit.

Can't increase the heat on the thermostat

Instructions1 On nearly every Honeywell thermostat, the heat setting can be increased by simply pressing the HEAT option or AUTO and using the arrow keys to adjust the setting higher or lower until the desired temperature is reached.
2 To set an automatic heating schedule for Wake, Leave, Return and Sleep, press the SCHEDULE button, then EDIT.
3 Select the current day and use arrows to select the time and temperature for Wake. For example, if you typically awake for work at 6:00 a.m. and want the heat to come on, use that as your Wake time and adjust the temperature to suit.
4 Select the day and use arrows to select the time and temperature for Leave. Since you will be leaving the home empty for several hours, this setting will allow the thermostat to lower the heat until your arrival back home.
5 Select the day and use arrows to select the time and temperature for Return. This is the time and temperature that you will choose for returning home from work and may want the heat on to warm the house for your arrival.
6 Select the day and use arrows to select the time and temperature for Sleep. Set the time you normally go to bed. The thermostat will automatically adjust itself to your selected temperature at that time.
Thanks

I have a Sunvic TLX6501programmable room therostat, I have no instructions, so cant program it! I looked on line and can only get instructions for a newer version which is different, mine is about 6 years...

Programmable stats can be difficult and a pain. Normally, set it on what ever season it is to start, like on heat.I don't know the buttons and arrangement on this stat, I am just going from experience.I will try and walk you through this, but you may to to draw me a map that I can visualize.Start by setting the Time, day, hr and min.It may say you have a 5-day-2-day or 7-day stat. You should have a program button, a hold temp, hour, min, day, up and down arrows Ect. Use the arrows to do the changing of temperature desired. The same with the time, use arrows, day, arrows and so on. Factory settings for this stat will be 68 for heat and 78 for cooling. So, what ever you are going to program 1st, make sure you are in that mode of operation such as heat. If you are going to set the system to come on and go off at different times of the day and night, with different temperature settings, you will need a manual as it would be almost impossable to do this without being there with you.Push the program button and this will start the process. What I would do to make it an easy set up as most people do, is to set the time as normal. Do not try and set the system to come on at different times at different temp's as with out the manual it would be difficult. Set each day, 5-week days and 2-week-end days for the temp you would like it to maintain, like 72 on heat. Do this for all 7 days around the clock. It will cycle on at around a degree below setpoint and cycle down when satisfied. If you want to warm it up for a while, just push the hold temp button after you raise the temp up to lets say 76, and this overrides the program you have, like 72 for 2 hours and will return back to original set-point. Due the same with cooling. This is the easy way and less confusing. They are really simple if you do this everyday as I do being a contractor in this field. You may have more or less or even different buttons on this stat, but they all are pretty much the same.Just make sure you are on in the mode you are setting up and should be able to go through it and get familar with it. It may take some time so be calm and you can do this. You have my confidence in you. Keep me posted.
Happy Holidays, Sincerely,
