If you take the front lower cover off you will find a plastic knob. Get a bucket first then unscrew the cap with a wrench. All kinds of stuff will come out from the washer.

Take a flashlight and look inside, see if you can find a screw or nail that may have gotten caught.

Gently pull whatever it is out.

Dont use the machine or you may damage it!

Sounds like something is stuck inbetween the drum and the outer part.Doesn't spin freely by hand. Can something get stuck like a penny or rock or something

anything at times can work its way into the area between the drum and outer edge of it,, Ive pulled everything from dog bones to socks that rolled around long enough to become lodged in this area,, if you have an inspection plate at the rear or bottom of this machine, remove it, and with the help of a mirror you should be able to look along the sides to see if anything is there ,

Money stuck inside drum making noise

The easiest way to access the area between the inner and outer drums is to take the front off. Instead of something being in the drum making the noise it may be the front felt pads that the front of the drum turn on. It makes the same noise. They are replaceable.

Somethings stuck in my washer

nasty problem. At the door of the machine there is a very slight gap between the inner and outer drum. smalls can get caught here and work their way down. solutions: power off lay the machine on its soapbox side remove the outflow pipe and see if you can find the offending object. Trickier solution: power off remove the heater usually at the back look into the heater housing and see if its there. Removing a heater can be tricky.nut in the centre unscrew but not fully. Tap the screw shaft lightly with a hammer and the remove the heater. When replacing lightly grease the seal to ensure it goes back more easily. Always power off before working on a machine

My wife was cleaning the lint catcher and something fell inside of housing of the catcher. Is there any way to unscrew the dryer to get it out, or are we just out of luck? I don't want to start up this...

You should keep your hand grenades somewhere else! Remove the top (either screws in the back or control housing or push in each front corner with a thin putty knife to release the latches), and remove the screws on the insides of both front corners, then lift up to release the front panel. That should give you access to the blower housing and duct work. Retrieve whatever fell in and vacuum out all lint in the area while it is open. Be sure to wash the lint filter in hot water and detergent to get rid of fabric softener deposits which plug the filter screen. Check the drum bearings (either sliding pads or rollers) for wear. Replace if found to be in bad condition. Also, check the condition of the drum belt and replace it if it is cracked or breaking apart. You will need to access a lower rear panel to remove the belt from the motor and idler wheel. Hope this helps!

I have Whirlpool Duet Dryer that has a noise.

It is common for small items (such as coins) to get stuck inside the dryer drum baffles. You can easily remove them without disassembling the entire dryer. The screws that hold them in place are located on the outside of the dryer drum. In order to access, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the dryer.
2. Remove the top panel of the dryer by removing the three screws located in the back of the dryer holding the panel in place. Once the screws are removed, the top panel slides back, then lifts off.

Each drum baffle has two screws holding it in place. Remove the screws and the baffle will drop into the drum allowing you to easily check inside each one.

Another source of dryer noise is something caught in the blower fan housing. You will need to remove the lower toe panel directly below the dryer door to access. Follow these steps:

1. Open the dryer door and remove the lint screen (the blower fan cover will not come off with the lint screen in place).
2. Locate the screws that hold the toe panel in place along the bottom front edge of the panel. HINT: Propping the front feet of the dryer up can give you better access to reach the screws (a 2x4 works well for this). With the screws removed the toe panel will drop down, then come off.
3. Remove the screws that hold the blower fan cover in place.

Inspect the blower fan housing for any objects that may be vibrating against the fan blades.

If you still need further assistance, please let me know. I hope you find this helpful.

I have a frigidaire stackable washer/dryer unit. The washer works well. But, recently, the dryer started making funny noises almost every revolution like something was banging inside at a certain point....

Try to move the drum manually. if unable to run your hand along the front of drum where it meets the front panel....there are two pieces of felt. something has either gotten stuck there or something has gotten stuck in the blower housing.

Dell 1600N MF Laser Printer- Blank vertical strip on all prints

you need do follow steps:
1) take out the cartridge find a cover there is the drum inside, the drum you can see the color on the drum surface
2) check out and clean any pieces of paper or dirty waste toner stuck there, because there is a waste toner cleaner on the drum surface which is like a long rubbon strip (something like that) you can spin anyway a little to clean.
3) if you check out any different color (vertical round drum), that is the drum surface worn or scratched. you can see the worn area show light color than normal area.
so you need change it better. 4) if the color all very same and still not fix, you need check again something stuck the drum surface near cleaner rubbon.

hope help you fix it, please take a rating let me know how much helped you thanks! keep in touch your question please.

Object in the drum

this aint an easy fix.
Sometimes a bra wire gets through the holes and gets stuck.
the only thing you can do is split the drum housing and empty it out.
No hard to to but takes a lot of time and patience.
Sometimes when you are lucky take the pump hose off the drum housing and look in that hole. sometimes it gets stuck there

SOMETHING stuck inside the dryer body - something like a coin... let me knwo

ok here is the best way to describe it you will need to get around the back there are two torks screws remove them and slide the top panel back to you ..OH I FORGOT unplug the machine first !!!....Ok now with the top off you will see the drum.. slowly hand rotate it until you see some screws that are lined up with the baffles inside the drum You will need to remove just a few screws on one side (the baffle that has the coins) dont take them all out or the baffle will fall inside the drum and it will be a pain to get back on9u will need 2 people) and that should do it you will need to rotate the drum around until the correct baffle ...ie ..the one with the coins in on top at the 12 o'clock position.. let me know if this works our for you
