Question about Air Tools & Compressors
Most reciprocating air compressors use a 30 weight non-detergent oil. Synthetic blends are the most common and least expensive.
Full synthetics are about twice the cost but well worth it, especially for smaller compressors. They dissipate heat better, and won't build carbon or varnish like other oils.
I feel when it comes to oil in a compressor Full Synthetic is the way to go.
