Question about Casio FX-115ES Scientific Calculator
The calculator uses a battery in addition to the solar cell. If the battery runs down you need to replace it. Turn the calculator over and you'll see the battery compartment in the upper-right corner (with a screw holding it shut). The calculator takes a LR44 battery or equivalent.
Make sure you clear the calculator after replacing the battery: press ON SHIFT 9 3 =

SOURCE: Calculator won't come on
most calculators have solar power strips on top so if there is no strip its not solar. there should be a plate on the back if there is a screw you found the batterie area put a few calculators have to be pride open to get to the batteries but it usily depends on the brand of the calculator.

Yeah I had the same problem, you need to open your calculator and check if all the screen cables is alright, i had just put sellotape on the back of the screen from inside so that the screen hold better, and it works for me if for you not maybe something broken in the schema but try it. The thing I know for sure the problem is in the screen or from where it get the data the schema. Tell me if it's working

If it is solar powered and hasn't been used in some time, the battery may have died, permanently. If there is no battery to replace then it is broken forever. Sorry.When batteries are left without juice for a long period of time they die, and cannot be recharged.
