It started after i had just watched a movie on my PS3 and then i started to listen to a little music. After that i turned off the system by going all the way to the left and selecting turn off from the log-in screen. I left for a little while and i came back and saw that my the green light hass not turned off. i turned it off with the power switch on the back of the system. i turned it back on to see if it was okay and i did not log-in to my screen as i have my system to automatically log-in and instead i ended up on this screen that said that mt hard disk was corrupted and that i hado restore it this was the first this had happened it said that it could be restored. i waited and i got 100% and then the screen turned black and stayed that way i waited for a while i thought that it woud let me log-in already but instead it went back to the screen that i was on before saying that the hard disk's file system was corrupt and i thought that this was weird. i ended up doing this five times. i tried turning off the system,i have even disconnected all my wires and it still does not work. please if you guys know a way to help i will be more than grateful to listen.

If you go to the memory, you should find an option where you can factory restore the harddisk and the console. Try those and if it still doesnt help, call sony for assistance.

Respected sir, I've a sony vaio PCG-9A4N Notebook PC System didn't display any data even Not a startup BIOS information. I got a result from a great struggle is that, the BIOS of the system is courrupted....

No need to take action with the bios in the fist step, firstly you need to check or find out which is the creator of this problem, the you can proceed troubleshooting according to the findings.

1. (This is related to your power supply problem) Remove/disconnect the ac adaptor (power chord) and try booting only from battery, and check if you can see the bios or not. Again remove the battery and and connect the power chord/adaptor, power on the system and see if you can access the bios. If not proceed to the next step.

2. Remove the hard disk and boot up the system,(if it boots up and you can access the bios, then the problem is with your hard disk, try it on another system) if there's nothing on the screen even without this, again remove the ram and boot again, make sure you note the beep codes (how many times and in which sequence it beeps).

3. Boot from a windows cd/dvd and check if anything accessible or not. If not then you need to disassemble the machine and check all the components like ram, cpu, ad-on cards, etc..

4. This time you'll need to try updating/upgrading the bios. It's not recommended to do it "do it yourself" a little mistake can make permanent failure. I would suggest you to get it done from a service center.

Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Reinstalling

Hard drive has bad sectors on it which is why its giving you that message even though you can go thru the restore. Normally going thru the system cd and then the recovery cd should bring you into windows with the device drivers installed.

The task is courrupt or has been tampered with.mcupdate for my microsoft vista

This is usually caused by a virus/trojan horse infection. Run your anti-virus software to identify the virus and then follow it's instructions on how to remove it. If all fails you can reformat but that would mean losing all the data that is currently on your hard drive and starting over. Hope this helps.

When i insert my computer the cd so as to install new operatin system it responding the ff disk is corrupted

You will need to go into the BIOS and make sure that the CD/DVD drive is the first on the list of BOOT Priorities.

It sounds like its going straight to the HDD, hence it is courrupt?
