I am working with metal but don't understand what broaching does?

Broaching is the process of removing unwanted material by using cutting teeth that cut one after another, similar to how those disposable razors that have 3 blades work to cut hair short.

Does it matter what kind of razor I buy for shaving my legs? I tend to buy really cheap ones but keep getting red bumps on my legs. Is the razor the cause?

Cheap disposable razors tend to be straight and single bladed. I would really spend the money on a better quality razor that has multiple blades and a pivoting head. You can get specific women's razors and the good quality ones should last quite a while. This might make a big difference to you in cutting back on sores and red bumps.

What is an electric shaver?

Not like shaving razors, electric shavers work by shearing the whiskers, the hair enters the perforated metal heads of the shaver and is cut by the moving blade inside.

Whats a straight razor?

A straight razor is a shaving razor constructed of a long steel blade attached to a handle by means of a pivot. A straight razor is a classic shaving method and nowadays it is less commonly used since the invention of the safety razors.

What is the proper way to cut drywall with a razor knife?

use a level or straight piece of drywall, and place it along the drywall you want to cut, cut with the knife along the straight edge (you dont need to cut through the entire width of the drywall). Then fold the drywall on the cut, and while folded cut the other side of the drywall paper. you should have a clean, straight cut

Is there a difference between razors?

Some people will tell you NO... but here at The Grooming Lounge we know there is a difference. Some of the new multi-blade brands feature technology that cuts hair more easily than before. Additionally, when used properly these multi-blade razors cut down on necessary re-shaves and the resulting skin irritation. They are definitely the way to go.

Wahl razor's not cutting, how do I fix it?

have you tried taking apart the blades and replacing them so that they line up together? Have you had a professional shear sharpener look at your blades? mabie all they need is to be sharpened again. Blades like knives or scissors need to be sharpened every once in a while. Also try replacing the blades with a new ones. The blades may have worn out. also try oiling the blades every once in a while.

Take apart

first you are definitly going to need a: razor saw, lead from a resistor, a solder and iron and long nose pliers

then...Using the razor saw cut at a shallow angle on either side of the power socket then continue the cut onto the bottom of the laptop, cut there at a shallow angle. The cuts should be about 1-1.5 inches long and just through the plastic body.

Now cut back and forth between the cuts at the transition point to produce two separate tabs

Snap off the tabs to give you access to the socket. De solder the socket and take it out. check to see if any of the pins are broken....once thats done then solder the socket back into place and test it. or you can just completly replace the socket.. then secure it with superglue.
