The hose that connects at the water pump may be your culprit in the leak. Otherwise, the tub gasket is leaking.

If you are able, position the washer on top of 4 concrete blocks (1 at each corner), that should make it easier to see underneath with a mirror to see where the water is coming from, and verify that water is leaking from the pump area.

Water is coming from under the washing machine not out of the hoses, where could it come from?

There might be two possible reason for that.

it might be coming form the tub itself passing through the rubber seal of your plastic rotator(the big wheel inside the tub)

the other thing is in the junction of the hose the tub.

try to open the back of your washing macjine where you can get an access inside the wheel and the junction connector, from there you will the cause of the leackage. try to put some water while looking at so you can see where the water is coming out

Water drips after the wash cycle is complete

Check and see if the leaking is coming from the pump. There could be a leak in the hose that comes off the pump or there could be a leak in your pump. If there is a crack or anything on the pump then just replace it and your problem will be fixed. It's an easy and cheap fix. The pump is located right at the front of the washer on the front of the motor. Just make sure you clamp off the hoses with hose clamps before taking the pump off or you will have water every where. I hope this helps you and if you have any other questions feel free to ask. Good luck.

Check for cracks and corrosion on the outer tub. Water might be leaking from there. Please do comment. Good luck.

Amana washer leaking.

Have your husband disconnect the power and water lines, pull the washer out and tip it back so he can check the hose connections to the water drain pump in the bottom of the washer. That pump should have two hose connections. In older machines, it is entirely possible that a hose has either come loose or cracked. If the hoses appear fine, check the pump itself for possible cracks. If all looks well, check the hose clamps for tightness.

Washing machine is leaking!

First check your supply hose for cracks or splits. If cracks are apparent the hose must be replaced. If none are apparent I would suggest taking apart the connection and checking the gasket or washer inside the fitting. If it has decayed or cracked this could be the culprit. Replace the gasket or washer with the same size. these are availiable at any hardware or home improvement store.

NO cold water function here, all others fine!

check you have cold water present by cracking open the fill hose and see if a squirt comes out. (you may have the tap turned off by accident) put on cold fill and listen close to the water intake. you should hear a low humming noise which is the valve energised. if not, probability is that the cold water valve is open circuit

Washer leaking water from bottom

You may want to check the seal at the bottom of the agitator, there is a o-ring that keeps the water in the drum from leaking through the agitator as it spins. This is a cheap seal and will wear over a period of time from exposure to bleach and detergent. You need to take the agitator apart and remove it from the drum and you should see this seal at the base of the agitator were it meets the drum.

Replace the seal and reassemble, take the metal casing off the washer and fill the drum with a little water, wait, and see if the water is leaking under the drum. If no leak, try to reassemble and run the washer. If is still leaks then check http://www.applianceaid.com/genew.html
