Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer
Make sure there is no water left in the machine.
Lean the machine back against the wall and look under the cabinet for the pump.
(If the machine has a metal plate at floor level, you will have use a flat screwdriver to unclip the plate from the plastic holders. There is no need to replace this plate.)
To remove the pump you will have to unclip the double wire plug. Rotate the pump to the left. Take note of the plastic latch which stops the pump from rotating.
Remove pump and unclip the earth wire.
Check the pump port for foreign objects.
Unscrew impeller and remove any lint.
Replace in reverse order.
Some water will run from the pump port, so a towel is handy to stop splashing and to prevent water going into the flywheel.
