My son bought a game at school. I have installed it, but when he tries to play a message comes up saying ''check for graphics hardware acceleration''. I don't know what to do.

simple means in a lay man language. the game is very high tech and very detailed images and graphics and you need a high end video card to play it. its not supported by your computer. you need to get a video card for your machine. may be NVIDIA GE FORCE OR ATI RADEON. check for the specifications of the game. what does it require. and then get one in order to play the game.

I cant play games

This message sometimes comes up if you have copied the game to the 360`s hard drive , the game will only be playable if it is in the DVD drive as the 360 needs to know if you still own that game . It will spin the drive to see if you still own it and then load it off the hard Drive .

I'm am trying to play age of mythology and after the movie ends, error appears and states "initialization failed".

Initialization failed

This means that the game is attempting to initialize hardware such as the video card but has failed

This can be caused by a number of factors.

1. Your hardware does not meet the games hardware requirements
2. Your hardware requires farther configuration to run the game properly

if you are certan that the game supports your hardware you may need to perform
some extra steps to get your game working

"Failed to initialize" is an incomplete error message because it does not tell you what exactly failed
a more complete error message would read "Failed to initialize the video subsystem" and then it would give an error code such as Error Code xxx telling you exactly what error code to look up
to determine what exactly failed.

Most of the time when a game says ( failed to initialize ) that means a video issue
this may mean missing files or wrong versions of files or incompatable hardware.

It is freezing after so long after the psp is turned on it is doing it on nearly every game some of which are quite new. the game comes back to normal after 5-15 minutes.

if you're having the problem very consistently, the likelihood the psp console has hardware issues is apparent and you might want to consider bringing it in for further testing.or you can test the games on other psp's and see how they play out,if they are ok,then that reinforces your psp's hardware problem.otherwise, you can also try to reformat your memory stick (system setting, then format),but be sure to save all important psp files you have and remember your settings.then after reformatting the memory stick, try to check if your psp will still have the same issue or load a single game and check how it works.chances are,it should be fine,if not, back to square one on hardware issue.no guarantees, hope this works.
