Lines on copies when scanning and copying on Canon 3480i optics cleaned, Help

Are the lines you are getting from banding? Are these lines there when you print a photo from the computer as well? If so then the printhead probably needs to be re-aligned.

I have a canon 4570 imagerunner, the problem i am facing is when i am printing a copy 2(sometimes 3) horizontal lines appears on the print.please sugest. Thank You

If the lines repeat in a regular fashion, with a consistent distance from each other, you need to replace the imaging drum. I would take a print out with the horizontal lines on it, then fold the paper up until two of the lines overlap each other; this will tell you the general diameter of the drum and give you an idea of what to look for inside the machine.

Line appears on copies when using the automatic feeder.

You have a piece of dirt or whiteout on the scanner glass. When the paper is moving by, it creates a "Line" if the paper is sitting still on the glass, it may be a dot or it may even use a different glass alltogether for ADF vs Paltten scanning.
