Go to the Dell suport site below...I'll include the link. Put in your computer model number and in the drop down menu state your operating system. A list of driver downloads will appear, just use your browser's download button when prompted and download the audio driver from the list to your desktop. Open the file and run the installer.

Wehn you open the link below, click on drivers and upgrades, then put in the model number, choose your operating system and choose from the list of downloads. Thats it.

http://support.dell.com/support/index.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.dell.com
and click "Detect My PC".
It will run a program to identify which Dell you have,
and it will offer downloads of device-drivers, including one for "audio".
Download it, and install it.
SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Try this, go to control pnel, select sound, audio and make sure your audio device is displayed in the Sound playback and Sound recording field, if it is not listed in the drop down you will need to reinstall the driver.
You can go into the device manager to reinstall the driver for your audio device or from the CD that came with your system or from the manufacturer web site.
I hope this helps.
Good luck and have a fantastic day.
