Question about Cameras
It sounds like the camera is a recent purchase, and as such should be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. You did not provide the camera info, so I can't help with getting contact information for you.
You could try bringing the camera to the store from which it was purchased, or even a camera specialty store, and talk to someone knowledgeable about your camera there. It is probably an issue with spring - like battery contacts that - depending on type - can be fixed fairly quickly by gently prying.
