Always keep clean filters /low air flow across the coil will make it freeze /if it is colder outside at night than inside will make it freeze up /if the unit runs for to long without cycle ing off/ at low outside temps the coil will continue to freeze .so you can either switch fan to on so the fan continues to run to defrost the coil / if its froze up between on an off cycles or the unit could be low on refrigerant this also will cause the coil to freeze ..hope this helps ..good luck/joe/

The best I can tell u is that the smell is from a leak at the evaporator or connections. I advise to get another opinion because it sounds like a lot of guesswork. if u get the work done, make sure the work comes with a warrantee! I gave all my customers warrantees for 20 years. That's part of the diagnostic business! Good Luck If u don't get a warrantee ,don't get the diagnosis or work done

My ac works good and sometimes it doesn't work at all.

They won't work when over charge. Over charging it will freeze up the lines. It will work at first until the lines freeze up. Most likely you have a clogged or malfunctioning expansion valve. On the passenger side, mounted to the fire wall. A rectangular block.

Water line freezing in door of GSL22JFXJLB Side by Side

the problem is the line is freezing up due to obstruction or blockage. which causes the water to back up and freeze, I have used a blow dryer, hot water, and a soft type long tiny tube or cord like material and even a coat hanger but be very careful, to get inside the line and unplug the obstruction or if u can remove the whole line and replace it? but may be very difficult. why was it pluged? some times pc's of plastic bags, old food particles, etc get into the line, doesnt take much

I have a Macallister Hammer drill Cod 144vchd and the hammer action is not working - cannot get the cheuck to line up with the hammer symbol

The chuck may be frozen, try applying some oil inside it. If that doesn't work it will need to be opened and inspected for any damage or frozen gears. You always want to rotate the settings every so often to avoid something like this happening. The metal gears sometimes freeze/seize after being in one place too long.

Ac compressort had to be replaced because it seized up. AC ran good for 2 weeks then went out, now the heater doesnt want to work half the time. i dont know if its my heater coil, a leak in my ac lines,...

THE BLEND DOOR THAT CONTROLS HOT TO COLD SWITCHING IS STICKING. THE CONTORL HEAD IS ELECTRIC AND MAY BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM. HEAT AND AC ARE 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SYSTEMS EXCEPT FOR THE CONTROLLER UNDER YOUR RADIO. HEATER COIL IS REALLY A HEATER CORE WHICH IS A LITTLE RADIATOR INSIDE THE CAR BEHIND THE DASHBOARD.
