<span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Arial">Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be. First, make sure the MUTE function is not activated, and then check the on screen sound set up menu to make sure the speakers are not set to OFF. If the setting is OK, then attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks (Red and White) to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. Please post back what you find.</span><br /> <span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Arial">Parts: <a rel='nofollow' href="http://www.shopjimmy.com/">www.shopjimmy.com</a></span><br /> <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'"><a rel='nofollow' href="http://www.fixya.com/support/r5093881-lcd_flat_panel_tv_troubleshooting_guide">http://www.fixya.com/support/r5093881-lcd_flat_panel_tv_troubleshooting_guide</a></span><br /> <span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Arial"><a rel='nofollow' href="http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums">http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums</a></span>

That means the main board will have to be replaced, not sue if you can get the replacement or if it will be worth it, just to be sure, you are not getting sound on all the sources , I.E. DVD games.

It sounds like the main board has gone out. The only audio components are the main board, wiring and speakers. Since audio is missing from external speakers as well, that tells you that the main board is at fault. The cost of the board could be from $150.00 to almost $300.00 depending on the version # of your unit and dealer mark up. You can call 1-800-samsung for nearest service center.

Are you connected to a Cable box? then make sure cable box is not on MUTE and audio cables are attached.
From MENU check to see that speakers are not disabled on your TV.

Proscan TV

Maybe, but I would first go into menu and look at audio settings and make sure speakers are on internal and not external or turn off.
Also just unplug for an hour and restart unit. Lastly, it may be cheaper to just attach a 100.00 surround sound system for audio.

No Sound on TV

I did not answer the original question you posed but the SAP is the acronym for Separate Audio Program and is used to provide spanish for instance on a show which is broadcast in both english and spanish. The problem is not all stations have audio on the SAP. If your audio processor is set to SAP and you switch to a channel which has nothing on SAP you loose audio. I'm guessing someone suggested this prior to this post. If you checked your TV and it is not on SAP that eliminates that. I would look at the audio circuit for problems. Either no power to the audion circuit, bad solder joints, blown output IC or possibly a blown speaker. I know the last one is remote but it does happen and it never hurts to check the simple problems first. Besides you aren't embarrassed later when you find out it was something simple. If you are going to check these issues out remember safety. Good luck.
