Hi, sorry to hear you replaced timer on machine, but it is most likely the motor.

Broken drive coupling, bad clutch, striped drive block, timer skipping past paus in nutral drain.
lots of things can cause problem

sound's like you have a bad motor.

unplug washer and lean washer back aganst wall,put something under frount of washer.So you can see under washer .Look and see if the belt are still on the pully or if there streached out (not tight) fix accordingly.
