Question about True TD-50-18 Beverage Cooler
Sounds like a bad thermostat. Normal setting is 3 to 5, with 5 being colder, and in my experience, more common. Prices vary but a thermostat is $50 - $75 labor should take no more than two hours - (less if you have the unit completely empty and warm when the tech arrives). The sensor goes into a sheath on the coil so if its cold there can be ice jamming the sensor from coming out or the new one from going in. The thermostat can be calibrated sometimes but it will generally cost the same with less reliable results.
