I have the porter cable 10 gallon tool trigger drywall vac why is it that the bags keep braking. Have had it for years and it's only been about the last two years they rip open way before they are half...

Need some more information, are you vacuuming dry wall dust or wet dust or saw dust ? The reason I ask is sometime their are "upgrades" available for the newer models of vacs you may not be aware of, when I worked at the Big Box H D tool rental center the vac we rented out used a water filtration set up instead of bags U might wont to check newer model for any changes, like you ,I had Craftsman for over 15 yrs. and when it died the replacement vac had a new mod for the filter that I always thought was needed. Good luck , Bret

Our Dyson upright vaccumms beater bar wont move. the vaccumm will **** up air but the bar underneath wont move. The gears are not working property.

It could be the clutch that's causing the problem or the belt. Bring your vacuum to a local repair shop and have it look at, but it sounds like it could be either one of those problems.

Porter Cable 7814 vacuum

Possibly a faulty power cord, replace the power lead to the machine or check for damage to the cable.
Check that machine is not blocked, motor may be overheating due to blockage, if you have good suction this indicates machine is not blocked.
