Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Quickbooks conflict with nvidia

If you installed the latest NVIDIA drivers, did you also try installing a different PDF printer driver? I would suggest try installing a different PDF printer driver like PDF995 or Foxit Reader. Post back how it works out.

Cannot open vendor detail or customer detail, AND everytime I open QB, I am told I have fewer and fewer times to use it...??? I am using QB 2003, Windows XP, with Internet Explorer 8.

You need to register your software to stop receiving notices about how many times you have left to use it. You can call Intuit and get a validation number to enter into the software or you can register it online and it will record the information automatically. That solves one problem. What happens when you try and open vendors or customers?

I get an error when I'm closing Quickbooks Simple Start, The instruction at "0x56461f49" referenced memory at "0x036c4360". The memory could not be "read". Do you know what this means and how to fix it?

Assuming you have Windows XP, please follow these steps:

1. update QB . To update QB,launch Quickbooks and then go to Help>Update QuickBooks. In the windows, click UPDATE NOW.
2. Then go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs. Then check mark SHOW UPDATES.
Then find Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 SP1 or SP2. Find update KB976576 or KB576976 and remove it.
3. Restart your computer and then launch and close QB.
ISSUE WILL GET FIXED

In any situation, this issue will never ever effect your QB data file.
If issue remains, reply with QB version and Windows Version?

Checks mismatch

You may need to change the settings on your printer to accept the checks through the paper input. Otherwise try the printer setting on your QB to have it print from the tray. Make sure it is set to print on 8 1/2 X 11 sized paper and not 3 X 8 or some strange size.
Let me know if this helps.

Using Quick Books Pro ... the printer will not accept print request for checks, but will print documents such as payroll updates. Suggestions?

I can't be sure about this, I use an older version of QB but have you tried going to File/Printer Setup?
In my older version there's a setup for each form
Sounds like you might have changes the check configuration at some point.
Hope this gets you started in the right direction

Bank reconciliation locking up, printing locking up.

In your list of printers, you will have one installed by QB called "QuickBooks PDF Converter". Do your reconcile and when it seems to lock up, open your list of printers from the control panel and open this QB printer. There will be a document waiting to print (not sure why, it might be internal to QB). Select that document and hit the delete key. That should free QB up to continue (works for me). You may need to select it and press Delete two different times to actually remove it from the printer. Finally, because it is not easy to open up Printers every time, make a shortcut on your quick launch or desktop to the Printers applet.

Converting QB Pro 2008 to QB Online

You can tell your data file size by having the program open and using Control+1 on the keyboard.

Depending on the complexity of the books, going to the On line version may not be your best choice as it has limited capabilities compared to the desktop versions.
