Hi, if you spilled liquid on the keyboard then it probably needs to be replaced, Try this... you can remove the keyboard by removing certain screws from the bottom of the laptop, then you open the laptop like if you are using it look to for sliders around the keyboard edges or if it just snaps in place, use thin flat screw driver to carefully remove the keyboard but do not pull far.. it should still be attached with a wide flat cable to the main board... now lets try to remove the cable completely and re-attach it ( when removing the cable use your small flat screw driver to pull the plastic connector snaps from the sides of the connector to loosen the cable and be careful not to break the connector, when attaching back put the cable in first and hold it while you push the connector plastic back in place)... try the computer to see if the problem is gone, if not then order another keyboard and replace it. best of luck
You just have to replace the keyboard. You can get a replacement keyboard on ebay for less than $20. Keyboard on laptop are pretty easy to replace. You can also download the keyboard replacement instructions from HP.com
I'm afraid that if the keys "keep coming off" then the very small bits of plastic that keep them down have permanently broken (very common) and that you must replace the keyboard. Page 5-28 of this document from HP explains how to replace the keyboard of that model.
