Remove the float switch from the circuit and try it again with direct power.
The switch could have a fault , at first as it was failing it may have been a resistance issue within the switch and now it has failed. OR Could be a blockage

"Does not want to start again". As in the motor does not turn on or as in it doesn't pump the water out?

The lines from the tank to the pump have to be air tight or it will not be able to "draw" the water due to all the air getting in the line. From the pump to outlet, not quite as important except you really don't want water spraying everywhere so should be fairly tight and sealed.

If it is using a float switch to start the motor, make sure it is working properly.

Dishwsher doesn't get disher clean

Hi

If the water inlet valve is fine and it fills with water then the issue seems to be with the float switch assembly that is bad and should be replaced. Float assembly is found inside the dishwasher's tub, on the bottom. The water that fills the dishwasher lifts the float, and when it reaches a certain level, it acts as a trigger for the float switch. The float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. A defective switch may interfere with dishwasher's filling and/or draining ability. Use voltmeter to test the switch. Set the device to the ohms setting x 1. Take each probe and touch them to one switch terminal each. This should produce a reading of either zero or infinity. Continue to touch the probes to the terminals, and press down on the switch's button. The reading should change to the opposite extreme. If the switch fails either of these tests, you should replace it. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

If the drain pump is taken apart and cleaned completely then the problem can be with the float switch. You have to take out the bottom front panel out and then clean the drain filter pump assembly completely. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

You have provided a very detailed explanation of the problem. You will have to check if the spring in the float is ok. May need to replace it. Cheick this.

This sounds as if you have a venting problem if there is no air introduced into system then it cannot drain, even with a pressure pump system, the only other thing is that the pump and grinder system is faulty,if still under warranty contact mftr.

Can I ajust the pump to turn on sonner . Some small water back up in shower .until pump turns on.would like to ajust pump level on / off thanks

You will need to get into the pump float area and there should be a float ball that can be adjusted. So the answer is yes.

Liberty condensate pump LCU-20S never shuts down and is loud

Had the same problem today. What I did to fix this was to disconnect the unit and shake it so that the float became free. Once this was done, I reconnected the power and drain tube and PVC lines and primed the pump with about 32 oz of water to activate the pump. All works fine now.
