Question about Braun 8585 Electric Shaver
I dont know where you can take the shaver in your area. But, you can have the folks at shaveroutlet.com repair it for you. See link below

http://shaveroutlet.com/professional-battery-replacement-for-most-models-p-374.html

To take apart the shaver, you will need to gently pry off the cap at the very bottom of the shaver (this plastic piece surrounds the cord hole). Once removed, the side grips will pull away revealing 4 screws. Remove screws to take off back cover.
If you are able to take this apart yourself, an easy fix is to buy the printed circuit board from shaveroulet.com.
