SOURCE: Problem with motherboard MSI P35 Neo2-FR

I just bought a msi p7n sli platinum. my board is better than yours hahaha, j/k, all playing aside, I have the same problem with the 8pin power connection. A power supply rated v2.2 has the proper 8 pin connection, but 2.1 or lower doesn't, regardless, plugging in two 4 atx pin connectors wont work because you'll be taking 4pins away from the main 24 pin plug (even though my manual says 20 pins will work, it doesnt, they lied!!!). However, when I put the normal configuration of 24 then the 4 in place of the 8, it works fine. The only thing i would worry about is overclocking, thats when you need to be careful with your voltages, etc. Also, I read somewhere that the 8 pin is actually 2 four pins, each 4 pin is for each side of the cpu...

SOURCE: I have an MSI 785GTM-E45

First thing I would do is try a different power supply as those are relatively cheap. If the problem persists it is likely a CPU problem.
Thank you,

Power supply

Any 450 Watt SMPS power supply is ok. Zebronic or Mercury retails around Rs.450 to 500. No need of costlier power supply like Corsair etc.

Can i buy a pwer button for motherboard msi 1076820474446

No search hits come up on MSI 1076820474446.

All you need is an ATX Power On switch, if the Power Supply is an ATX form factor,

If the Power On switch does not connect to the motherboard, then it isn't an ATX power supply you are using.

The Power Supply is an AT style.
Has a built-in power switch.

Or I can also show you this,

Two main power cables plug into the motherboard. Power Supply has it's own power switch built-in.
A steel rod from the Power On button pushes against the switch.

No power supply going to the JPWI of MSI RS480M2-IL.what to do?

Have you plugged it in? It is used as a seperate power supply for the Processor. There will be a cable from the PSU with the correct connector and yellow and black leads going to it. There will be a 4 pin square connector on the end of it.
